Purchased two pair of these as navy tights for uniform. Machine washed in cold water and hung dry. These tights lasted one washing and then had runs in them and were unwearable. Don't buy if you need to wash in machine.

I am very pleased with the cotton tights. They fit well yet are not too binding. I would, however, prefer tight that could be washed in the washing machine. Even washing by hand in cold water, they do bleed.
