Amazon.com essential video Ancient curses, all-powerful monsters, shape-changing assassins, scantily-clad stewardesses, laser battles, huge explosions, a perfect woman, a malcontent hero--what more can you ask of a big-budget science fiction movie? Luc Besson's high-octane film incorporates presidents, rock stars, and cab drivers into its peculiar plot, traversing worlds and encountering some pretty wild aliens. Bruce Willis stars as a down-and-out cabbie who must win the love of Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) to save Earth from destruction by Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg (Gary Oldman) and a dark, unearthly force that makes Darth Vader look like an Ewok. --Geoff Riley

It's Blu-ray, what more do I need to say? November 29, 2008 W. J. Lewis (Southern California) The audio and video are absolutely perfect, sharp and crystal clear. A funny Sci-fi adventure. A little goofy at times, but thoroughly enjoyable.
I watch this movie once a month atleast November 23, 2008 C. Nicholson (Fecalville, IA) Fantastic special effects, great acting, funny, and full of action, what more do you need? It's got that too.
very satisfies November 19, 2008 S. Cotton (WV) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
Arrived quickly and appears in good shape. It is a Christmas gift and I haven't played it.
Good, stupid action October 29, 2008 Philosopher (FL USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this movie for what it tries to do, which is be a good action movie. It doesn't try to be anything it's not (at least I don't think so). It's so over-the-top with everything, explosions, stupid laughs, and its characters. Pretty much what I want from my dumb action movies.
