This book was sad, but yet interesting..this girl Kamone deserved so much more..I hate the mother role in this, and how her father raped her when she was just 5....there was so much I loved about this book and so much that made me say can this truly be someones real life..I love this book and wish it was a part 2..I want to know what happen to her siblings, Lucci "her husband" and the twins she had....

I have to admit the book was good but the cover must go. I saw it plently of times but becasue of the cover looked the other way, I finally read it and was impressed. Authors remeber the cover is almost as important as the reading, think about it.

After seeing all of the great reviews I expected a lot from this book and ended up disappointed. I didn't empathize with the characters as their thoughts and feelings were not described well. I didn't like the ending at all. It was shoved into two pages and only gave a brief description of the year and three months in which Kamone changed her life. This book was easy to read and had an interesting storyline, but it wasn't written very well.
