2 out of 5 stars Really difficult to make   August 21, 2008
G. Wilton (St. Louis, MO USA)
This tastes ok and does smell good, but it's incredibly difficult to work with. I cook all the time, and followed the directions exactly. It is so crumbly I can hardly get it to hold together at all, much less shape into a ball and roll out! I don't know what I am doing wrong, but there are other mixes I prefer to this for sure. Be prepared to mess with it a lot!

2 out of 5 stars Waaay to spicy...   August 16, 2008

I'm a little surprised at the rave reviews here. We tried this mix and it was ridiculously over-spiced. Even my s.o., who generally likes intense Italian spices, thought it was was way over-doing it. The texture wasn't really great either - I don't know if we made a mistake somehow, but it was very dense. We ended up using some of this mix to bread some Italian Parmesan chicken - it worked pretty well for that, at least!

2 out of 5 stars Only use if you have no other choice.   August 12, 2008

I know there are excellent reviews on this crust. It even smells great when it comes out of the bag but that is where it ended for me. I am a celiac as well but I will find an alternative crust or not eat pizza. I thought this stuff tasted horrible. It doesn't cook right, even following the directions to a T. Maybe these other reviewers know something I don't. Bought it at a health food store for 8 bucks a bag so at least buy it off here so you can save some money.

5 out of 5 stars Best allergen-free pizza crust!!!   July 27, 2008
A. Stephenson
This pizza crust is delicious! Our whole family loved it!! We put cheese and toppings on them. My child who is allergic to everything just had toppings on his (no cheese), and he ate it all. We made personal pizzas out of the dough so everyone in our family could make their own pizza to enjoy. Whenever we want to have pizza night...this is pizza crust mix we will use every time. We are thrilled to be able to eat pizza again in our house! Thank you Namaste!!

5 out of 5 stars Best Gluten-Free Pizza Crust   January 24, 2008

I have tried many gluten free pizza crusts, and this is by far the best. Be sure to use very hot water when mixing it (near boiling). This will make the dough easier to handle. I recommend making many small pizza crusts and storing them in the freezer so you can pull them out, add toppings, and toss in the oven for a few minutes. Makes a great quick meal.
