Great little game May 26, 2008 William P. Davis (Toledo, Ohio) I was not expecting much when I installed this game, but I was pleasantly surprised. Do not expect Half-LIfe series quality, but the story is very interesting as you take on a bio-body and wield a ton of super-cool weapons with awesome sound effects.
If you like First Person Shooters, you will like this game. When I was playing it, I was reminded of my old "Doom" days - and all that fun.
One negative: the game crashed 4 time for me on XP. I found this usually happened when the "bio-shield" is selected on you special enhancement category indicator. It just does not like some graphics drivers, even the latest ones. Eidos has stated they will not put out a patch. It is a little late for that now.
If you want to read a great action story based on Historical fact, read Black Triangle
very sweet May 13, 2007 A. Keller (Colfax, CA USA) i guess Eidos wanted to make a Deus-Ex type of game that everyone can play. just think of a pure action arcade type of Deus-Ex on steroids. great graphics, awesome effects, solid gameplay, all right storyline (i just want to kill stuff though) amirite? great selection of weapons and augmentations too. you can drive vehicles in some levels as well as take over some robots and mechs to switch up the gameplay style a bit so it never gets old and is always fresh. the squad A.I that you fight alongside with is ok. at least one guy will follow you at all times to clear out buildings and the rest will cover-fire. the cutscenes in-game are filled with action and movie style camera angles. if you like partial open-ended fast paced sci-fi shooters, this is for you.
OK game, there are better May 2, 2007 William J. Byman (Vancouver, WA) The game has a weak story line and it doesn't allow saves at any time, so I ended-up replaying the same scenario, until I got bored and deleted the game off my computer.
Fun but old March 14, 2007 Delacroix Its a fun game but the main problem is that its too old. There is rarely anyone playing it online. The single player mode is pretty fun but thats about it.
Cannot get it to work January 4, 2007 L. Raguso (Lebanon, TN United States) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I cannot get the computer game to work on my system. For reference sake, I am a gamer and I tried everything. The game makers support was good but they also could not get the game to work.
