I bought the i-F2 1 1/2 years ago, and my experience has been excellent. The sound is very impressive (it impressed a friend of mine, who is a professional engineer & sound mixer), the case is super convenient, the hard-shell protects the iPod inside and makes moving it around easy. And the lithium battery is great -- I often run it cordless. I travel with it, and bring it to my job-sites all the time.
The only caveat I have -- be careful with the docking connection. I let other people dock their various iPods on my unit (some of them teenagers) and the docking pin connector got a bit throttled by them. 1 month before the 1 yr warranty ran out, the dock connector became so loose it no longer would connect. I called Sonic Impact to see about a repair, didn't have my receipt (but had cut off the bar code from the box & still had that). They were super nice, told me to send it in with a note explaining that it was a gift, and within a week they sent me a new replacement unit.
Super great customer service.
I'm now very careful with docking my iPod, especially if someone else wants to use it.
Overall, I've been extremely pleased with these speakers, and with Sonic Impact.

This little unit is great. It is portable, ruggered, and has great sounf for the price. You can take it anywhere and it plays for almost 9 hours plus on a charge. Great for use with your IPOD!

I received this as a gift. It was purchased this through Amazon by way of Electronica Direct. Out of the box it was great. Plugged it in, fully charged, it lasted me over a week. When I tried to recharge it, nothing. It won't even play my ipod while plugged in.
Now after 1 week waiting to be opened for my birthday and one week of use, I am haveing trouble just getting it exchanged. Electronica Direct said they don't help after 15days, Amazon told me to contact them.
I am still waiting to hear from Sonic Impact.

I purchased these speakers and they worked fine for a few months, they were not used very often, mostly when going away on trips, camping, etc. Then the speakers completely stopped working (the ipod would still charge when pulled in - but no sound). Contacted the company and they sent me a whole new system - awesome. Then the new system did the EXACT same thing after 2 months. Contacted them again and by this point, I was about 1 week over the one year warranty so they said they would do nothing, even though technically this new system was only 2 months old. Awful, would never trust this comapny again.

Just bought it today. [...] Intend to make this a 'rolling review.' Bought this for a forthcoming trip to sunny climes .
So far so good. It was well packaged in the box. Has several holders for the various I Pods & as others have mentioned , a lead for other MP3 players. I was impressed with the plugs for the US/UK and Europe - a nice touch. It is on charge as I type , so I haven't played it. The one thing I wish it had was a radio - that would have made what appears to be a good product , a great one. As the charge time is 8 hours , I will update later.
