Amazon.com Product Description iPod speaker systems come in many shapes and sizes, but few are quite as handy as the MiniBlaster G2 from JLab Audio. Designed expressly for the iPod nano 2G, this ultra-portable black stereo speaker fits right in your short pocket, letting you haul along crystal-clear sound to the beach, to the campsite, and just about anywhere else. In short, it turns your iPod nano into a legitimate boombox, but in a housing that measures only 1.75 by 4 by 1.25 inches (W x H x D). The system includes a custom silicone skin that holds your iPod nano 2G in place, along with a 3.5 mm extension cable and a 6-volt AC power adapter. As an alternative, you can also run the MiniBlaster G2 on four AAA batteries (not included), which power the system for up to 10 hours at maximum volume. There's no better way to share your favorite music outdoors. The MiniBlaster G2 isn't built for big sound, but its pair of 40 mm Mylar cone drivers does the job, producing a frequency response of 450 Hz to 20 kHz. And even though it's designed for the iPod nano, it also offers a 3.5 mm auxiliary input for connecting to MP3 players, portable CD players, and other audio devices. The MiniBlaster2, which also comes in white and pink, is backed by a one-year warranty. What's in the Box MiniBlaster G2, 6-volt power adapter, custom silicone skin, 3.5 mm stereo extension cable, user's manual.
Product Description Slide your iPod nano Gen 2 into the incredible JLab MiniBlaster G2 and you've got the coolest gadget in the world! This ultra portable stereo speaker fits right in your pocket and allows you to blast crystal clear sound from your iPod nano any time and any place... walking, at the beach, camping, hanging with friends, and everywhere you go.

This product is awesome. I bought a white one for me over a year ago, and my sister liked it so much, I purchased the black one for her as a christmas present. She loves it just as much as I do. I hope they hurry up and design a new style to accomodate the latest design Ipod has adopted. I am glad that I have a G2 model so that I can enjoy this product!
Great Sound January 7, 2008 N. Kidani (Hawaii USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great sound for such a small unit. I use rechargeable batteries and they lasted pretty long. Easy operation. The protective jacket for your nano, that comes with the unit, does not fit well. But not needed, if you use an invisible shield which does the same job.
EXCELLENT PRODUCT FOR NANO OWNERS July 25, 2007 Joshua D. Daniels (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was completly blown away with the sound quality of these TINY SPEAKERS. I compared the IHOME 2GO portable speaker unit and there's no comparsion. The Miniblaster is hands down the best sounding and most compact speaker system on the market.
Only portable speaker for Ipod worth using June 10, 2007 Machiavelli (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have used a lot of the other ipod portable speakers before this one and had never found anything worth listening to. They are typically really low end and provide crappy sound that make you feel like a chump for paying for them. The Miniblaster is an amazing sounding speaker that is far superior to the others. I have owned mine for several months and find that it can create music of similar quality to the larger boombox ipod stereos. I use mine during dinner with the family and it is great for providing a nice atmosphere. The best part of the miniblaster is being able to slip it into your pocket and take your tunes with you on picnics, camping, bikerides, or just hanging out with friends. You will be surpised by the sound quality from such a small speaker.
