Does what it says January 7, 2009 M. Severson (Los Angeles, CA) Turns my sweet headphones into a headset for my iPhone...'nuff said. Have only used it a few times but it works exactly how it's supposed to and gives you a handy remote for your iPhone when you are listening to music (just like on the factory headset). One click pauses or plays, two clicks goes forward, three clicks goes back. Apple, why do you have to make things so fantastically simple? I love it.
Griffin SmartTalk Headphone Adapter for iPhone 1G December 17, 2008 Viper17 (Boise, ID USA) Works as advertised and seems like a high quality product -- should last longer than the first one I had which was not made by Griffin and was of poor quality.
Nice while a short time December 14, 2008 Angel Conce (Dominican Republic) i used for a short time before it stop play one size of earphone. its a nice product, but watch out, dont use it when phone's in the pant pocket!!!!
gets the job done November 22, 2008 C. DeGrenier 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are a great value. $20 and you can use any headphones with your iPhone and still have a mic. The only downside is the really long cord that results from two headphone cables being connected in series. This is easily solved with a twist tie. The mic quality is great...the button works well...no complaints.
good news bad news October 16, 2008 danharr (Annapolis, MD United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The good news is, when it works this product does exactly what it should. I use the Sony MDR EX71 headphones, and I get great sound from earbuds that don't hurt my ears like the Apple product does.
The bad news is, the woven cable is too stiff to flex repeatedly, and should be better protected where it comes from the plug- more flexible cable or longer heat-shrink tubing would help a lot. I lost the sound in one ear after 45 days. I never manhandled the adapter, but do keep my phone in my front pants pocket.
