The sound from this device is excellent. I would have given it a 5 star review but the unit seems to to interfere with the radio reception of the Zune. Otherwise, it's a good value with a great sound.

The Kicker ZK500 sounds very good with most of the music on my zune player, however it can't help the tunes if the recordings are so, so.
I gave the player 4 stars, due the fact that you are limited only to the tracts on the player, and while docked you can't play the radio. I also thought the price, was somewhat high, because the only thing you get is a speaker, no c.d. player or clock, just a speaker.

I bought this Zune dock a few months ago and have been very satisfied with it. The sound quality is great for a portable unit, full and clear. I think the price is a bit high but there are few choices out there for Zune as yet. The credit card sized remote works well and is the preferred control mechanism. If you are looking for something in this area of portable sound for your Zune, I'd highly recommend this Kicker unit.

Very high quality product, and works with Zune 120G too. It wasn't cheap, but it was well worth the money and, the sound is is great!

This is absolutely amazing. The sound is crystal clear -- even at thumping levels that threaten to crack the walls. It comes with a slim remote that conveniently controls all the functions of the Zune. You can also put it in standby mode and have it charge your Zune while it's off.
One pleasant surprise was how small it was. It takes up practically no room at all.
The sound can't be described -- it has to be experienced. It packs unbelievable power for something so diminutive.
Others have complained it's not portable -- and it's true there's no battery option -- but if you needed to take this somewhere (maybe lend it out to a friend for a party, etc.) it would take nothing, considering its size, to simply unplug it and transport it.
I cannot recommend this more highly.
Just a note: for anyone who was curious, yes, this works with the Zune 120. I couldn't find this info anywhere online and finally just bought it on spec. Luckily it works perfectly with the 120. (I repeatedly wrote Kicker for this info but they wouldn't respond to my E-mails. Kicker made a great product, but their customer service could definitely use some work.)
Powerful, attractive, small, completely convenient -- this is a must if you own a Zune.
