I drink protein shakes after working out and wanted something that I could mix them in easily. This bottle does a great job of mixing whatever I put into it. I thought there might be a significant amount of powder that didn't get mixed up, but it actually works great for that. The problem I have is that if you don't actually HOLD the lid down when you shake it you sling stuff everywhere. Seriously? If the lid actually kept things in when you closed it I would rate this five stars.

If you need a bottle to mix stuff e.g. protein drinks and want it to be easily used and easily cleaned then buy this product. It's exactly what you need and at the most reasonable price. Actually not too good to be true.

I use this blender bottle with the shaker ball regularly for anything that I'm going to drink, even if it doesn't need much blending, as I like the way the ball mixes in air and makes everything taste better. But, the ball really does mix things up well better than you can do by just shaking without the ball. I decided to buy another one, as I wanted to have one clean and ready to go at all times.
 Developed Leaks June 17, 2010

All three of mine developed leaks within a year. They were great before the leaking started. It's a shame they don't have a gasket, but they rely on plastic against plastic to form the seal. That starts off fine, but eventually, they will leak. I wrote a good (5 star) review for them last year when I first started using them, but that was before the leaking started. So just keep that in mind. Just because they work fine now, doesn't mean they won't be leaking in a few months. At first you can get the leaking to stop by tightening them extra tight. But eventually, even that won't stop the leaking.
