Good case...just a little small August 17, 2010 Sabrina (Atlanta) I wanted a non-bulky case for my dslr Canon 20D. I like the size and portability of it but it's a little too small for my camera. I can squeeze it in there but it's really hard to zip up. Overall, I still think it's a decent case.
Not for Nikons August 9, 2010 Reedalex This is a overly small case. I wouldn't trust the measurements to translate to the actual inside area. I purchased this and a Lowepro case. Without question, in my opinion, the Lowepro is a superior product.
Camera didn't fit as internal measurements posted are incorrect. August 7, 2010 amgbest Nice bag but the internal dimensions are not accurate. My Canon 50D with 18-200 lens was too big even though it measures 7" long (which is what the internal dimension was listed as) but it needed another 2" to fit. I ordered the larger version (Opteka long zoom holster case)and hope this one will fit as its supposed to be 9" long. I will use the other one for my digital rebel which fits perfectly.
portability for the standard user July 25, 2010 jon 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The case is durable and compact, and can fit into your backpack easaily. I'm able to comfortably place a Canon T2i with the strap placed first. Don't plan on storing much else in this case except your camera with the standard lens. It doesn't appear to accommodate longer lenses, but you'll get away with an extra battery and SD card. If your a serious photographer planning on bring extra gear, get something bigger. If you go on trips/hikes/theme parks and will bring a backpack, this case will do the trick and keep your camera safe in your backpack.
The Sweet price is it's best aspect. The only admirable one. June 30, 2010 Seban Jose (Houston, Texas USA) Started off as a good cheap option for my Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm lens.
However, the zippers (2) went bad in the next few months. I wouldn't say I am the most gentle of handlers but they did not last me. Right now I am having to make do with this but I hope it aren't long before I scale up to a better (quality), more comfortable (shoulder strap) & more durable/ tough (zippers and overall) case in the near future. It is worth a 2.5 star I would think.
Even if you are on a low budget keep this in mind before you jump onto this one.
Cheers!
