I use this a LOT with my T1i when I shoot lightning. Feels solid, cable nice and long, and the switch is responsive. I really like the slide "hold down" switch for long exposures. WOrth every penny.

Simple 10 foot shutter release. Works great. Like another reviewer said - the release button seems to be at the wrong end of things. A little odd to hold at first, but after a few shots I got use to it. Not a big deal. If you need a 10 foot cord this is the one. I used this instead of the infrared remote. Camera on tripod, tripod in bed of truck, 10 foot cord allowed me to be out of bed of truck to reduce vibration/shake caused by me moving around. If I used the infrared remote I would have had to be in front of the camera - and that's not were I wanted/needed to be.

I bought this to go on my 5D and it got stuck in the camera. A very scary thing to happen on such an expensive piece of equipment. I do not recommend this product. I searched online and found others had this happen to them as well.

I would say this is a good tool to have in your bag of tricks. It works well though the button is a little sensitive, you may be finding your self taking a shot when you didnt want to. the ten foot reach is great just keep an eye out cause it needs TLC when handeled dont be jerking it around or you will find your self buying another one.
