If you have external flash and second lens don't buy this July 24, 2010 U. Patel nice bag i love it but if you have 18-200 lens and flesh like SB-600 it will not fit in this bag if you don't have flesh go for it its great bag
Meh... July 24, 2010 Revived gamer (Minneapolis, MN) If you know absolutely nothing about photography, the DVD might be of some basic help. But even then, you're better off just googling basic photographic techniquies (for free!) as well as just reading the owner's manual and just trying things out on your own. That's the best way to learn and remember anyway.
The bag is nice but small. Assuming you're going to leave a lens on your body when you store it (unless you like schmutz on your sensor), there's room for maybe one more short lens. If the 70-300 is up your alley (or more than one extra lens), you should buy a bigger bag. And if you buy one that doesn't say Nikon on it, it will probably be cheaper. I ended up buying a Case Logic backpack that is made for holding slr gear and a laptop. But I keep this little Nikon bag for times when I'm not carrying all my lenses and other goodies. That's not very often but it still comes in handy I guess.
I know that this starter kit is meant for beginners, but you can accomplish the same thing for less money and more utility by buying a little bit bigger bag and skipping the DVD in favor of reading how-to's online.
Good Choice July 22, 2010 Nour I like this bag, it is good to carry the D3000 with maybe one lens.
It is suitable for this kind of camera. I am not used yet to this kind of size for the camera since I've been using smaller cameras, but after seeing the pictures, I know it is worth it to carry this bag, with the D3000 in it.
not mine! July 19, 2010 Sixto Reynoso (New York, NY USA) I bought this a s a gift with a digital camera, and i have to say it is a great purchase, everything was able to fit in greatly and there was no problem figuring out how to use the compartments.
Transaction Satisfaction July 15, 2010 Tesla52 Excellent transaction. Received timely and in advertised condition. I would do business with this seller again.
