Disappointed in product June 24, 2008 world traveler (California) I ordered this product after reading the description. Based on the description, the product appeared to be an excellent guide for travelers in Europe. I am very disappointed to find, after looking at the product, that this product doesn't really deliver. If you are travelling to Europe and don't want to get lost, don't count on this product to deliver you to your desired destination.
Travel Guide June 19, 2008 MJ Coul (Boston) I would not buy another travel data card. It is not very useful and not well integrated into the regular GPS function. It was a waste of money.
Usually Garmin gives value for money.... June 19, 2008 On The Road ... but not this time. This is a very expensive and embarrassingly deficient collection of out of date information, and very extensive areas of the United States are simply unmentioned.

Try getting your money back after it fails. A dark screen after loading the SD card. Called Garmin, placed on hold for 20 minutes, was told that it doesn't work unless the unit picks up the satellites in Europe. So, who do you call with a dark screen in downtown Strausbourg and won't be home until the return date has lapsed? AMAZINGLY, I was also told that the software has no maps (that cost another $300). This Travel Guide is nothing more than a glorified electronic tour book that you can pick up for $20 in hardcopy and with real maps! They call this dumming up.
Rip-off! March 26, 2008 Roger1 (Parker, CO United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Garmin and Fodors should be ashamed of this product. The coverage is absurd. In Washington D.C. I looked for a restaurant near my current location. Nada, but I was surrounded by a wide variety of places to eat, some of them very highly rated by local media. This guide wanted me to go most of the way across town, an expensive cab ride, to a neighborhood that I was advised wasn't very safe. You're better off to Google the city before you visit and take along a few pages of printouts. Do not waste your money on this piece of garbage.
